Brooklyn Earick Dismisses Spurs Buyout Proposal Following Expression of Interest
The long-serving executive oversaw Tottenham's relocation to the state-of-the-art venue in the year 2019.
Innovative business leader Earick has rejected launching a buyout proposal for Tottenham.
Tottenham had previously “firmly declined” an unofficial approach from a investment group led by Brooklyn Earick last period and maintained the team was off the market.
But British acquisition regulations dictated that, after an initial approach rejected, the group were obligated to present a formal offer by 24 October or state they would refrain.
Official word of the determination was provided in a statement issued by Tottenham to the stock exchange, indicating the club is “ceased to be in an offer period.”
Earick posted an snapshot of the release on digital channels, remarking: “I've had a privilege interacting with Tottenham Hotspur and the Lewis family's representatives over the past few months.
“I hold great respect for the club, its executives, and its followers, and desire continued achievements.”
Spurs' leadership thanked the syndicate for its “constructive approach” in negotiations and for “acknowledging the clear position” of the owners that the club is not for sale.
Earick is a ex-disc jockey who also was employed in space technology for the space agency before establishing Redacted RnD, which specializes in technology, media, sport and leisure.
His approach was the third expression of interest declined by the team's directors since the unexpected exit of long-serving chairman Levy in last month.
